COSATU will go on a National Protest, the protest will take part on the 13th of February 2019 for all provinces except the Western Cape. The Western Cape will protest on the 19th of February 2019.

This is a protected protest action and all COSATU members and trade union members affiliated with COSATU will most likely participate.
The national protest is against job losses and unemployment as well as a command for a tax reduction. The protest action is planned to take place in all provinces. It is planned that members will march to government buildings and the offices of major companies and state-owned entities, while in the Western Cape a march has been planned to Parliament.
