The Manufacturing, Engineering, and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (merSETA) has opened its first Discretionary Grant Funding Window for the 2025/26 Financial Year. The funding window opens on 11 November 2024 and closes on 31 January 2025. Applications are invited for programmes addressing national and sectoral needs, with initiatives to be implemented from 01 April 2025.

  • Leadership development for Black individuals.
  • Green skills development programmes to address sustainability needs.

  • Occupations in Demand training for priority job roles.
  • Bursaries for both employed and unemployed individuals.
