The Minister of Employment and Labour announces an internship programme for 20,000 interns
The Minister of Employment and Labour, Ms. Nomakhosazana Meth, recently announced an intern programme set to recruit a total of 20,000 inspector and enforcement interns over the next 24 months,
The programme will bring onboard 10,000 interns annually, recruited across all nine provinces. This will significantly increase the department’s capacity and improve compliance with labour legislation across all sectors of industry.
