The Department of Employment and Labour has released the official schedule for the 2026 National Employment Equity Workshops & Roadshows, aimed at helping South African employers better understand and implement employment equity requirements.

Under the theme “Bridging the Equity Gap Through Diversity & Inclusion”, these workshops will take place across multiple provinces between July and September 2026, offering organisations valuable insights into compliance, transformation, and best practice.

Employment Equity remains a key focus area for organisations in South Africa. These workshops provide an opportunity for employers to:

Nationwide Availability

The roadshows will be hosted in major centres including Kimberley, Polokwane, Mbombela, Rustenburg, Durban, Cape Town, Gqeberha, Pretoria, Johannesburg, and Bloemfontein, ensuring accessibility across the country.

For those unable to attend in person, online sessions via MS Teams are scheduled for 8 and 9 September 2026. ​​​
