FoodBev SETA Discretionary Grant Applications – Funding Window for 2025/26 Financial Year

We are pleased to inform you that the FoodBev Manufacturing SETA has opened the funding window for Discretionary Grant Applications for the 2025/26 financial year.

 

This grant aims to support skills development in line with the Sector Skills Plan, FoodBev SETA Strategic Plan, National Skills Development Plan (NSDP), and the Economic Reconstruction and Recovery Plan (ERRP), with a focus on building a skilled workforce within the food and beverages manufacturing sector.

 

Key Information:

Closing Date: 6 December 2024

Eligibility Criteria: Applications must target the Sectorial Priority Occupations Intervention List particularly for upskilling previously disadvantaged groups, including women, youth, persons with disabilities, and rural communities.

Eligible Applicants Include:

  • FoodBev Manufacturing SETA levy-paying employers/companies
  • Non-levy paying employers/companies and organisations in the food and beverages manufacturing sector, including non-profit and community-based organisations
  • Public Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges
  • Community Education and Training (CET) Colleges
  • Public Universities Universities of Technology (UoT)
  • Recognised FoodBev SETA Trade Unions

 

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful skills development within the food and beverages manufacturing industry, aligning with national priorities for economic recovery and growth.
