Bargaining Council Main Agreement extended to non-parties

The Bargaining Council for the Food Retail, Restaurant, Catering and Allied Trades Main Agreement has been extended to non-parties.

The extension is applicable to employers and employees within the food retail, restaurant, catering, and allied trades industry in the Magisterial District of Pretoria, Brits, Bronkhorstspruit, Cullinan, Rustenburg, Warmbaths, Witbank, and Wonderboom.

It is important to note that Clauses 1(1)(a) and (2) of this agreement will not apply to employers and employees who are not member of the employers’ organisation and trade unions, respectively.

The agreement is in effect as of 21 February 2022 and remains in force until 31 December 2022.
