Advancing Skills Development: Opportunities for discretionary grants in the Wholesale & Retail SETA (W&RSETA).

The W&RSETA  invites its stakeholders to apply for the 2024/25 Discretionary Grants to implement artisan development programmes that will assist the SETA to contribute to the National Development Plan targets to address the national shortage of artisans and to reduce the skills gap for artisans in the Wholesale and Retail Sector.

Only applications for artisan qualifications obtainable through a trade test will be considered for funding.

Category B: Candidacy Programme: Professional bodies and W&RSETA stakeholders are invited to apply for Discretionary Grants to place and support candidates to achieve professional designations to address hard to-fill Vacancies as identified in the Sector Skills Plan.

Closing date: Completed application forms must be submitted before the 30th of June 2024.
