The Chemical Industries Education and Training Authority (CHIETA) has opened applications for its 2025/26 Cycle 1 Discretionary Grants, providing employers and enterprises in the chemical sector with the opportunity to address critical skills development needs.

Prioritised Programmes
Applications are invited for the following training programmes, scheduled between April 2025 and March 2026:
- Apprenticeships
- Learnerships (only for continuing learners under legacy programmes – no new applications)
- Occupational Certificates
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Artisan RPL (ARPL)
- Work-Integrated Learning (WIL)
- Bursaries for employed and unemployed individuals
- Skills Programmes
- Adult Education and Training (AET)
