Renewal and Extension of the Construction Industry Retirement Benefit Fund Collective Agreement – Civil Engineering Industry
The Minister of Employment and Labour has declared that the Collective Agreement which was concluded in the Bargaining Council for the Civil Engineering Industry and published in GNR 1107 of 19 October 2018 be extended to non-parties. This means that the conditions specified therein shall be binding on the parties who concluded the collective agreement and on other employers and employees in that industry.
The extension of the collective agreement comes into effect from 27 January 2025 and for a period of 12 months.
The Construction Industry Retirement Benefit Fund (CIRBF) Collective Agreement is a set of rules that govern the contributions made by employees and employers to the CIRBF. The agreement ensures that employees and employers contribute to the fund, which provides retirement benefits for employees in the construction industry.
