Notice of the extension to non-parties of the Food, Retail, Restaurant, Catering and Allied Trades Main Collective Agreement
The Minister of Employment and Labour has, in terms of section 32(6)(a)(i) of the Labour Relations Act No. 66 of 1995, published a notice extending the operation of the Main Collective Agreement to non-parties by a further period ending 28 February 2026.
The Food, Retail, Restaurant, Catering and Allied Trades Main Collective Agreement outlines various provisions that govern the employment conditions within these industries. This collective agreement is binding on all parties involved in the Food, Retail, Restaurant, Catering, and Allied Trades sector, ensuring fair treatment and standardised conditions across the industry.
