Newsflash! CETA Invites Applications for Discretionary Grants in the Construction Sector

The Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA), operating under the Skills Development Act of 1998, invites stakeholders and parties interested in the construction sector to apply for Discretionary Grants (DG) funding. These grants, valid until 31 March 2030, aim to support skills development initiatives aligning with national and sectoral priorities outlined in CETA’s Strategic Plan.

Focus Areas:

  1. Rural and Township Development
  2. Youth Empowerment
  3. Women’s Empowerment
  4. People with Disabilities
  5. Military Veterans
  6. NSDP 2030 Transformation Imperatives

 

Provincial Focus:

Provinces with major construction projects will be prioritised, providing learners with practical training opportunities.

Application Process:

Applications open online from 2nd April 2024 on www.ceta.org.za.
