Course Overview

This Labour Relations course is designed to give delegates an understanding of what harassment in the workplace is and how to effectively resolve the issue of harassment. Delegates will be exposed to concepts such as sexual harassment, legislation in terms of sexual harassment, the forms of sexual harassment, racial harassment and workplace bullying.

This course will enable Learners to:

  • Understand the concept of harassment
  • Understand Sexual harassment, legislation in terms of sexual harassment and the forms of sexual harassment
  • Understand the employer’s liability for sexual harassment
  • Understand how to effectively resolve sexual harassment
  • Understand racial harassment, the forms of racial harassment and the test for racial harassment
  • Understand what workplace bullying is

Learning assumed to be in place:

  • Mathematics and communication skills at NQF level 4 or equivalent.
  • Computer literacy and applicable software at NQF level 4 or equivalent.
