Reduced Work Time Benefit

Short Time/Temporary Lay-off

The applicable forms are:

  • UI19 and UI2.7 (completed by Employer)
  • UI2.1 (application form)
  • UI2.8 (bank form completed by the bank)
  • A letter from the Employer confirming Reduced Work Time or Temporary Lay-off due to the Coronavirus. Download the letter here.
  • Copy of ID document

In case of 14 day quarantine

The applicable forms are:

  • Death Certificate
  • ID of deceased and the person applying
