COVID-19 UIF benefit extended to August 2020

President Cyril Ramaphosa has extended the national state of disaster to August 2020 to curb the spread of COVID-19. In light of this, Employment and Labour Deputy Minister Boitumelo Booi has announced their decision to similarly extend the COVID-19 TERS benefit until the 15th of August 2020.

 

The benefit structure and existing criteria will remain the same.

 

Applications for April, May and June 2020 will close at the end of July 2020. All applications already received for will be processed. June 2020 TERS application requirements.
